Owl Health Extension
Welcome to the Owl Health Extension – located within Richardson Elementary School! The Owl Health Extension is a collaboration of Oscoda Area Schools and Alcona Health Center, supported through funding from Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). This program is aimed at supporting student health with the availability of on site, medical and behavioral health services. With parental/guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health and medical professionals can provide healthcare that is conveniently located within Richardson Elementary School. The Child and Adolescent Health Center Program is dedicated to helping children and adolescents achieve their best possible health and well-being. Services are available for children and youth ages 3 through 21, as well as infants and young children of adolescent parents. Individuals who are eligible for Special Education services may continue to receive services through age 26.

Adolescent ONLY hours are to protect age 10+ in
confidentiality and comfort within school-based clinic settings
Mon-Fri: 1:00 p.m. – 2 p.m.
After Hours
For urgent behavioral health needs dial 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
