Alcona Health Center bases our masking requirements while on our campuses on current area COVID hospital admission rates and other high-risk factors. Hospital admission rates with “color” and screening questions will be posted at all patient entrances. A separate sign showing the current appropriate color/admission level will be displayed next to this one on all entrances for you to view prior to entering our buildings. Green = Low/No Mask Required. Yellow = Medium/No Mask Required. Orange = Mask Required. Yes to Screening Questions (Do you have COVID symptoms? Have you had tested positive for COVID? Have you had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID?) = Mask Required. If you wish to know the current status of masking requirements before coming to our location please phone us. Otherwise be prepared that you may have to wear a mask based on the current level as posted on the entrance door.

Mark Drogowski, MD
Family MedicineDr. Mark Drogowski practices family medicine in Cheboygan. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Albion College, before going on to achieve his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by a Family Medicine Residency with Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals. Dr. Drogowski's professional interests include pediatrics, preventative care, and a focus on "whole person care". He is a former Mead Johnson Award: Top 25 Resident Physician USA recipient. Professional memberships include - AAFP, MAFP, and Christian Medical and Dental Association.

DentalKelly Harnish, RDH is a Registered Dental Hygienist who works both at our Cheboygan Campus and our Pickford location. She graduated with an Associate of Applied Science/Certificate in Dental Hygiene from Baker College in 1999. She is a member of the Dental Hygiene National Honor Society.
Rachel Ingalsbe, LMSW
Behavioral HealthRachel Ingalsbe, LMSW is a Behavioral Health Therapist. She is a graduate of Spring Arbor University, earning a Master's of Social Work. Her professional interests include a focus on trauma, addiction, child, and family therapy.
David Kazanowski, MD
Family MedicineDavid Kazanowski, MD practices family medicine. Dr. Kazanowski graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 2018 and completed his residency at Wayne State University Family Medicine Program in 2022. Dr. Kazanowski has earned many accolades including: The Dr. Frederick Rosin Award of Excellence (Wayne State, 2022); The Standout Performer Award (Wayne State, 2022); Family Medicine PGY-2 Resident of the Year (Wayne State, 2021). Telehealth (Behavioral Health)Vicki Konczak-Miltz, LPC CAADC, NCC, CCS-DP, is a Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Therapist. She earned her Master's of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. Vicki has obtained CAADC- Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is part of our Medication Assisted Treatment Program at AHC. Her professional interests include substance use disorder and trauma. Recovery Services Team Member.
Daniel Mead, NP
Behavioral Health (Telehealth)Daniel Mead, NP is a nurse practitioner who practices family medicine. He studied at South University in Georgia and earned his Masters of Science in Nursing in 2018. Mr. Mead has a special interest in Family and Psychiatry Treatment.
Joy Newhouse, PMHNP BC
TelehealthJoy Newhouse, PMHNP, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her BSN prior to completing her MSN from Walden University. In addition to seeing patients in person, Ms. Newhouse will also be offering some telehealth services.
