About this Location
The school based behavioral health program is operated by Alcona Health Center in partnership with Pickford Public School. With parental/guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health professionals can provide therapy conveniently located within your child’s school. This allows for ease of access, fewer disruptions of regular routines and less loss of class time. Commercial insurance and Medicaid plans are accepted, and we offer an income based sliding fee program. New patients are welcome.

Sommer Stallman, LPC
Behavioral HealthSommer Stallman, LPC is a Behavioral Health Therapist. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and Western Michigan University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology degree along with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Stallman specializes in working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression and aging/medical related challenges.

This health center receives Health and Human Services (HHS) funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health related claims, including medical/dental/behavioral health malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
