About this Location

The school based behavioral health program is operated by Alcona Health Center in partnership with Alcona Public Schools. With parental/guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health professionals can provide therapy conveniently located within your child’s school. This allows for ease of access, fewer disruptions of regular routines and less loss of class time. Commercial insurance and Medicaid plans are accepted and we offer an income based sliding fee program. New patients are welcome.

Katherine Erwin, LMSW, is a Behavioral Health Therapist. She earned her Master's Degree from Loyola University of Chicago, School of Social Work. Ms. Erwin also holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, and a Juris Doctorate, both from University of Michigan. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers - MI Chapter and will be assisting the young children at Alcona middle/high school in Alpena as a school-based 31 N therapist in collaboration with Alpena Public schools.
