Alcona Health Center’s Walk-In Clinic in Alpena offers walk-in availability* six days a week – including Saturday mornings!  Prefer to schedule a same day appointment? Simply phone us at (989) 356-4049 and we will reserve a time for you.

We are open to everyone.  You do not need to be an established patient to utilize this service.

Insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid plans are accepted.

* Number of walk-ins available per day is limited and impacted by same day appointments scheduled and healthcare provider capacity.


Walk-In/Same Day Appointment Provider

The AHC Walk-In Clinic is staffed by healthcare providers from our Alcona Health Center team on a rotating basis. The provider on staff will be trained in family medicine and could be a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, MD, or DO.

Services Provided

  • Same Day Appointments & Walk-In Service for non-emergency care for patients of all age ranges for a variety of things like fevers, coughs, cold/flu, rashes, burns, strains, sprains, scrapes and cuts.
