Becky Lahner, LMSW

Becky Lahner is a Licensed Master Social Worker, that is assisting the young children at Besser Elementary school in Alpena as a school-based 31N therapist in collaboration with Alpena Public Schools.

Patients range in age from 5 to 11 years old with specialty care including treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and negative life events. Certifications include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) certified, Certification from Michigan State University – Trauma Level 1, Certification from MSU – Supervision in Child and Family Services Certificate, Trails- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Certificate, Autism Testing Certified (ADOS-2 & ADIR administration). Therapy offerings include CBT, TF-CBT, Play Based & Art Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy & Motivational Interviewing.
