Besser Elementary School – Alpena
Welcome to Besser Elementary School Behavioral Health! This school-based behavioral health program is operated by Alcona Health Center in partnership with Alpena Public Schools. With parental or guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health professionals can provide therapy conveniently located within your child’s school. In school behavioral health services allows for ease of access, fewer disruptions of regular routines and less loss of class time. Commercial insurance and Medicaid plans are accepted, and we offer an income-based sliding-fee payment plan – making services more affordable for your family when they are needed the most. New patients are always welcome.
