Welcome to the Alpena High Health Center! Alpena High Health Center will be temporarily relocating to our Long Rapids Plaza location until August 18 – then they will move back to Alpena High School. If you have any questions, you can call (989)-358-3500.
The Alpena High Health Center is a collaboration of Alpena Public Schools and Alcona Health Center, supported through funding from Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). This Children and Adolescent (only) Health Center program is aimed at supporting Alpena Public School students’ health with the availability of on site, medical and behavioral health services. With parental/guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health and medical professionals can provide healthcare that is conveniently located within Alpena High School. Please see Medical Consent regarding confidential services. This allows for ease of access, fewer disruptions of regular routines and less loss of class time. Commercial insurance and Medicaid plans are accepted, and we offer an income-based sliding fee program. New patients are welcome!

Do you need help with insurance?

Adolescent ONLY hours are to protect age 10+ in
confidentiality and comfort within school-based clinic settings
Mon-Fri: 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
After Hours
Established patients have access to a member of our After-Hours Care Team whenever the office is closed. This includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
