About this Location
The school based behavioral health program is operated by Alcona Health Center in partnership with Public Schools of Petoskey. With parental/guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health professionals can provide therapy conveniently located within your child’s school. This allows for ease of access, fewer disruptions of regular routines and less loss of class time. Commercial insurance and Medicaid plans are accepted and we offer an income based sliding fee program. New patients are welcome.

Behavioral Health - 31N ProgramAmanda Stanek, LPC is a Behavioral Health Therapist. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University prior to continuing on to achieve her Master's of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2010. Areas of professional interest include development of social skills, addressing life changes such as divorce and coping with grief.
