They would also possess strong organizational skills, computer skills, and knowledge of medical procedures and terms, or the ability to quickly learn this information.

Job Overview

The Information Systems Technology Specialist Level 1 provides in person and remote based support for laptop, software and operating system issues logged through the IT Helpdesk. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with users with differing IT technical levels. Attention to detail is critical, even when performing repeated tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Recording, tracking, and documenting help desk requests and problem-solving.

• Walk colleagues through steps to help them resolve technical problems around the health center’s network and applications. This includes performing hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.

• Develop help sheets and knowledge base articles for end users.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft networking including Microsoft Active Directory domains.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage situations, re-prioritize, and meet demanding deadlines

• Ability to work collaboratively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

• Superior oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.

Education and Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a technical support role. Must have working knowledge of and experience with MS software products, as well as demonstrated skills and experience in the administration and support of IT systems and networks.

• Certifications are preferred, but not required.

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.

We are seeking a MD or DO with a minimum of two years of experience to practice full service primary care with a solid team of clinicians. This is a Monday – Friday outpatient setting, with an “after hours” phone only call rotation.  Scheduling of a 4 or 5 day work week is flexible and negotiable.
