Bid Proposal Request – Waste Removal – May 2019

Alcona Citizens for Health, Inc. (AHC) is now accepting bid proposals for waste removal and disposal for the following Locations.

AHC-Administrative Annex, 1035 W. Washington Ave., Alpena, MI  49707

This bid proposal is for a four (4) yard dumpster to be emptied once per week.

AHC-Alpena Services, 1185 US-23 N., Alpena, MI  49707

This bid proposal is for an eight (8) yard dumpster to be emptied twice per week.

AHC-Harrisville Services, 205 N. State St., Harrisville, MI   48740

This bid proposal is for a two (2) yard dumpster to be emptied once per week.

AHC-Lincoln Services, 177 N. Barlow Rd., Harrisville, MI  48740

This bid proposal is for an eight (8) yard dumpster to be emptied twice per week.

AHC-Ossineke Services, 11745 US-23 S., Ossineke, MI   49766

This bid proposal is for an eight (8) yard dumpster to be emptied once per week.

General Requirements

1.  The contract for Annex, Alpena Services, Lincoln Services and Ossineke Services will be for five (5) years effective August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2027. The contract for Harrisville Services will be for five (5) years effective October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2027.

2.  The quoted pricing must be valid for the length of the contract.  Reasonable annual increases are permitted in the bid proposal.

3.  Vendor must have general liability, vehicle, and workers compensation insurance.  Copies of current insurance certificates must accompany bid. 

4.  Vendor may bid for all locations, an individual location, or combination of locations.

6.  Bids are to be sent to, Attn: Garbage Bids,  P.O. Box 655, Alpena, MI  49707, no later than end of business on June 21, 2019.  Bids dropped off or sent to any other AHC location will not be considered. 

7.  Throughout the term of the agreement, contractor must be dependable and provide insurance certificates upon request.  Throughout the term of the agreement, any change in insurance status must be reported to AHC within 15 days of change.  Non-compliance with the insurance requirements may be cause for termination of the agreement.​
