About this Location

The school based behavioral health program is operated by Alcona Health Center in partnership with Pickford Public School. With parental/guardian permission, our licensed behavioral health professionals can provide therapy conveniently located within your child’s school. This allows for ease of access, fewer disruptions of regular routines and less loss of class time. Commercial insurance and Medicaid plans are accepted and we offer an income based sliding fee program. New patients are welcome.

Sheldon Kranendonk, LPC CAADC

Sheldon Kranendonk, LPC is a Behavioral Health Therapist. He earned his Master's in Counseling degree from Spring Arbor University. Additionally he is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and an endorsed Play Therapist. Mr. Kranendonk's other professional interest includes Infant Mental Health. He is a member of the Association for Play Therapy.
