Welcome to our Oscoda location page! Alcona Health Center’s Patient Centered Medical Home model of care means that we are your partner in healthcare. Our team of professionals will work with you to establish and manage your health goals and assist you in achieving your best possible health! Alcona Health Center bases our masking requirements while on our campuses on current area COVID hospital admission rates and other high-risk factors.  Hospital admission rates with “color” and screening questions will be posted at all patient entrances. A separate sign showing the current appropriate color/admission level will be displayed next to this one on all entrances for you to view prior to entering our buildings.  Green = Low/No Mask Required.  Yellow = Medium/No Mask Required.  Orange = Mask Required.  Yes to Screening Questions (Do you have COVID symptoms? Have you had tested positive for COVID? Have you had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID?) = Mask Required. If you wish to know the current status of masking requirements before coming to our location please phone us.  Otherwise, be prepared that you may have to wear a mask based on the current level as posted on the entrance door.

Family Medicine

Amanda Aube, FNP is a 2017 graduate of Walden University with a Master's of Science - Nursing. She is a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners. Recovery Services Team Member.

Nathan Barden, PA-C

Family Medicine

Nathan Barden, PA-C earned his Master's Degree of Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in 2006. He has specialty training in orthopedics, rural health, trauma, and MAT training. He serves as our Alcona Health Center Oscoda Medical Director. Recovery Services Team Member.

Nicole Rice, PA-C

Family Medicine

Nicole Rice, PA-C is a Physician Assistant who practices family medicine. She studied and earned degrees from both the University of Michigan and Oregon State University (BS of Science and MS Movement Studies in Disability) before moving on the earn her Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis. Her professional memberships include the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Joane Tagliamonte, LPC

Behavioral Health

Joane Tagliamonte, LPC is a Behavioral Health Therapist. She studied at Central Michigan University, first earning a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Theatre before returning and earning a Master's of Arts in Counseling.

Adrienne Westphal, DO

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Dr. Adrienne Westphal specializes in Psychiatry. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Central Michigan University prior to advancing to Michigan State University where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Westphal completed both a General Psychiatry Residency (Michigan State University) and a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship (Michigan State University). She is currently a member of the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Gina Braden, LPC CAADC is a Behavioral Health Therapist who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Lourdes University in 2004 prior to completing her Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2011. She specializes in substance abuse disorder and trauma.
